Clary Sage Oil
  • Clary sage essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the flowering tops and the leaves of Salvia sclarea. Oil has a light golden yellow color and earthy fruity aroma.

  • Linalol is the chief chemical found in clary sage oil.

  • Clary sage oil is used as fragrance components and fixatives in soaps, detergents, cosmetics and perfumes.

  • It has mostly been employed in disordered states of the digestion, as a stomachic, kidney diseases, uterine and menstrual complaints, acne, boils, dandruff, hair loss, oily skin, wrinkles, and general nerve tonic.

Sandalwood Oil
  • Sandalwood is one of the oldest known perfume materials. This rich and sweet scented oil is known as an aid to meditation, spiritual growth and an aphrodisiac. Sandalwood oil is extracted from the chipped heartwood and roots of Santalum album by steam distillation and yields 4-6.5%.

  • The main chemical components are: Santalol, Furfurol and Santalene.

  • Sandalwood oil is clear with yellow tinge with a rich, woody, sweet, balsamic fragrant yet delicate odor.

  • The sandalwood oil is used in most major food categories for flavoring and as a fragrance in cosmetics, detergents, perfumes and soaps. It is used extensively in the production of incense.

Sesame Oil
  • Sesamum indicum seeds are cold pressed to obtain light yellow color havings a mild flavor and are odorless. Hot-pressed sesame oil is darker and has a more pungent taste.

  • Sesame oil has been used in India over 3000years in Ayurvedic medicine preparations and massage. Sesame oil massage has great moisturizing, soothing and emollient qualities which makes it a good choice to include when mixing a massage oil or preparing a carrier oil blend.

  • Sesame oil contains rich package of antioxidant comprising sesamol and sesamolinol formed from sesamolin, which substantially reduce its oxidation rate.

  • It is also highly nutritious, rich in vitamins A, B and E as well as the minerals iron, calcium, magnesium, copper, silicic acid and phosphorus. It contains linoleic acid and alpha linoleic acid as well as lecithin. Palmitic 12.0 %,Palmitoleic 0.5 %, Stearic 6.0 %, Oleic C 50.0 %, Linoleic 50.0 %, Linolenic 1.0 %, Eicosenoic 1.0 %.

  • Sesame oil is one of several vegetable oils used in the cosmetic industry as carrier oil for various skin-cares, hair care products.

Fennugreek Oil
  • Fenugreek oil is obtained from the seeds of Trigonella foenum by cold press method.

  • Fenugreek essential oil contains 17 kinds of fragrance. They consist of fatty acid, fatty acid decomposition, alkyl methoxy pyrazones and furannones. Among them sotolone has the strongest fragrance. The mixture of these fragrances gives the smell of curry.

  • The Fenugreek oil makes an excellent insect repellant. The presence of Fenugreek seeds has also been known to deter bugs from laying eggs or entering areas.

Valerian Oil
  • Valerian oil is obtained through the steam distillation of the roots of Valerina jatamasi. Valerian oil is golden yellow color with a warm-spicy, woody and camphoraceous odor.

  • Traditional oil used in Ayurveda jatamansi oil promotes awareness & strengthens the mind; cooling, balancing, sedative, relaxing, but with enhanced awareness.

  • It may be used In perfumery; tobacco-flavoring, rootbeer flavoring, soaps, colognes, soft drinks, and liqueurs flavoring.

Ginger Oil
  • Ginger oil is obtained from the rhizomes of Zingiber officinalis by steam distillation and has a history of 3000 years of use by Ayurveda for medicinal applications.

  • Ginger oil is yellow in color and has a warm, spicy, earthy, woody aroma.

  • Some important constituents are a-pinene, camphene, B-pinene, 1,8-cineole, linalool, borneol, y-terpineol, nerol, neral, geraniol, geranial, geranyl acetate, B-bisabolene, zingiberene.

  • Ginger is a multipurpose essential oil that is very useful as antiseptic, antibiotic, uplifting, anti-inflammation and stimulant.

  • Ginger oil is used in candies, cookies, cookery, soaps, and drinks.
